Steve Filoramo, Co-Managing Director of Bridge Financial Group, an office of MetLife, has been a part of MetLife for three decades. He began his career at MetLife with four years as a financial advisor, followed by 15 years as the Branch Manager of the Great Kills office, and 12 years as Managing Director. Steve has consistently led his team to the Top 25 agencies in MetLife and for his Leadership, Steve has been recognized by GAMA International and was a recipient of GAMA’s National Management Platinum, Silver, and Bronze Awards.  He was honored for his achievement as a Chairman’s Council qualifying office in 2006 and 2007 ranking 8th and 6th in the Company, respectively. He is a former President and member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College, Life Underwriting Training Council Fellowship designation, and Lifetime Membership to the Million Dollar Round Table. Steve received one of the highest honors at MetLife when he was inducted into the Manager’s Hall of Fame in 2002. 

Steve has been a Staten Island resident for 40 years and is a former coach for soccer at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Staten Island High School Hockey League, and Staten Island Little League. He has served on the Finance Committee of Holy Child Church and has been involved in Lifestyles for the Disabled, a gold sponsor of Derek Jeter’s Turn-To Foundation, Bikes for Kids Program in Harlem, and has been a supporter of St. Michaels, St. Clementine.
 
Steve presently sits on the Board of Advisors to MetDESK Foundation, ( MetLife’s Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids) and is very active within the special needs community, an interest close to home as his son has Asperger’s Syndrome. Under the Leadership of Steve Filoramo, Bridge Financial Group employs over two hundred individuals.  In 2007, Bridge Financial Group was honored with the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation’s Platinum Award for Businesses
